Day 10: The Day We Saw Seussical

Today was a very joyous day. I somehow managed by the will of God to make an A on my sight singing exam, which was MOST DEF needed! Brittany and I both had successful music lessons today as well (flute and the good ole' clarinety). For dinner we had Bible study with Angela and Rebecca on the balcony which was vair fun. Afterwards we all headed to see Seussical the Musical in JPAC, and let's just say it was AMAZING :) We not only knew everyone in the pit, but we also knew a ton of people on stage which made it that much more enjoyable! Congratulations to everyone for all of your hard work- it is definitely paying off!

So after Seussical we made a friend.... meet Herman :) He jumped on Angela and she screamed so loud that the entire campus looked (okay that might be a wee bit of an exaggeration, but you get the drift).

Today in Bible study we talked about pride and humility. This verse sums up what we discussed and really touched me:

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. 4Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.

5Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
6Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
7but made himself nothing,
taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
8And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
and became obedient to death—
even death on a cross!

Philippians 2:3-8

Have a wonderful rest of the week! Give everything to God.
