Psalm 62.5
It's been a very long week for both of us...and it's only Wednesday! Not long in a bad way, just in a busy way. Today was sort of the wind-down day for us. We got up early to study for a Western Civ. quiz for Aubrey and a Counseling quiz for me (which ended up being canceled! dumb!). This started the day for us both a little tired. We woke up a little as we sat in the middle of the Circle with Angela after classes, which was a great time!
Aubrey taught her Woodwind Methods Class while they learned to play the bassoon, saxophone, and oboe. She did wonderfully, I'm sure! (Good thing she practiced conducting on me and the cute figurines; we helped tons!) She's going to make such an amazing band director in a few years!
We had a lovely little "game night" with Last Word, after I finished up with youth-which both went quite well!
Today's picture is a little posed, but it describes perfectly how we feel! All ready for sleep and wishing it were the weekend already! Late nights and super early mornings are not really our favorite things.
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
