Day 7: The Day We Played Outside

We often find ourselves in a groovy situation, where we do the same thing day in and day out. Today started out as one of those days, however we managed it to be a little more trochoidal-by rotating or changing up our normal routine. We were both quite tired from the previous night of late studying, or at least I was until a nap. :)

I picked up one of the middle school girls from church with Kim this afternoon and we hung out, which was really good. Rachel is a sweetheart. What started out as the three of us hanging out turned into a big fun group activity.

We called Nate and got him to bring our new favorite "scoop" game and Aubrey joined us playing in the center of our dorms. Sean soon joined us and it was a very fun afternoon! Then we all went for ice cream! Good times, for sure!

I read this today, and just couldn't help but share it. I mean, all of Ephesians is great, but today was chapter 1. "In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace that He lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding." -Ephesians 1.7-8.
What a beautiful picture of how great our Father's love is, and what an awesome God we serve that He cares enough for each of us to save us with His blood. The more I learn about Him the more I fall in love and long to seek Him more, getting buried in His heart. How very rich His grace is!!
